The Chosen One Lyrics
By: Maher Zain
In a time of darkness and greed
It is your light that we need
You came to teach us how to live
Muhammad Ya Rasool Allah
You were so caring and kind
Your soul was full of light
You are the best of mankind
Muhammad Khaira Khalqillah
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habib Al Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One
From luxury you turned away
And all night you would pray
Truthful in every word you say
Muhammad Ya Rasul Allah
Your face was brighter than the sun
Your beauty equaled by none
You are Allah’s Chosen One
Muhammad Khaira Khalqillah
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habib Al Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One
I will try to follow your way
And do my best to live my life
As you taught me
I pray to be close to you
On that day and see you smile
When you see me
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habibil Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habibi Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One

The great impression Islam has made on foreigners
The Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of our Prophet (saas) are very important guides for believers.
The moral values revealed by our Lord in the Qur’an have attracted the interest of foreigners ever since the time of our Prophet (saas) right up to the present day, and have amazed people from all sections of society capable of honestly and conscientiously evaluating events.
Muslims’ Tolerance Inspired Astonishment
One of the most important features of people with faith in Almighty Allah (God) is their tolerance and compassion, a sign of their sincere belief. There is no doubt that this tolerance and love exhibited by Muslims as a requirement of Islamic moral values, has been the most important factor influencing non-Muslims at all times.
The examples observed in Islamic and Turkish history, in which the most just and humane attitude, even with regard to prisoners of war, compatible with Islamic moral values inspired the same powerful effect in non-Muslims. Independent observers who witnessed the attitude of Muslim Turks towards captives were heavily influenced by what they saw, and often felt the need to set down their thoughts and feelings. For example, Mouradgea D’Ohsson, who served for many years in the Swedish Embassy in Istanbul and whose book Tableau Général de l´Empire Ottoman (General Picture of the Ottoman Empire) is regarded as one of the most important descriptions of 18th century Ottoman life, summarized his thoughts in these words: “No nation in the world looks after and treats its prisoners, slaves and even galley slaves better than the Muslim Ottomans.”
It needs to be made clear here that the reason for the care and affection the Ottomans showed their prisoners was a consequence of their Islamic moral values. Almighty Allah has commanded Muslims to feed even their captives. This is just one proof of the excellent virtues that compliance with the Qur’an bestows on Muslims:
They (the believers) give food, despite their love for it, to the poor and orphans and captives. (Believers say,) ‘We feed you only out of desire for the Face of Allah (God). We do not want any repayment from you or any thanks.’ Truly We fear from our Lord a glowering, calamitous Day.’ (Surat al-Insan, 8-10)
Writers Who Expresses Their Admiration for Islamic Moral Values
Many writers who saw the toleration and justice in Qur’anic moral values often devoted space to examples of these virtues in their works. One such, the American William G. Wells, made the following comment in order to emphasize the mistaken way in which some circles in his day looked on Muslims:
The Quran teaches peaceful tolerance to the opponents of Islam.
Another foreign author who made wide observations on this subject is Gerard de Nerval, one of the best known figures in French literature. This French author, who was also a traveler and who described his observations to his readers, told them of his experiences during his visit to the Ottoman Empire. To de Nerval, the most surprising thing in Ottoman lands was the way that people from different nations and holding different religious beliefs lived as brothers in the Ottoman state with its multinational structure. He reported his observations thus: “Istanbul is a strange city. Four nations live there together and do not hate one another. The tolerance and indulgence that Turks, Armenians, Jews and Greeks living in the same place extend towards one another cannot even be seen among peoples living in various provinces or in political parties where we come from.”
Gerard de Nerval also witnessed a festival morning during his travels and was amazed at Muslims’ tolerance and the warm relations enjoyed by all sections of society, which he described as follows in his writings: “Most of the Europeans living in ‘Pera’ joined the throng. Because on festival days members of other faiths also join in Muslims’ celebrations and share them with them … Everyone is given food and drink once the sacrificial animal has been killed. In addition, everyone entered whichever house he chose and sat down and was served. All Muslims, rich and poor, offer food to the people coming their homes, no matter what their faith, race or social status…”
There can be no doubt that it is the moral values possessed by Muslims that amaze non-Muslims. The Qur’an, sent down to humanity as a guide by Allah, commands proper moral values. At the basis of these values lie concepts such as love, affection, tolerance, justice and compassion. Islam is the true faith, that manifests the infinite compassion and affection of Allah and that was sent down to offer people lives filled with peace and security. In the verses of the Qur’an, people are called to Islamic moral values as a model in which compassion, affection, tolerance and peace can be enjoyed on Earth. Full compliance with the moral virtues commanded by Allah in the Qur’an will be the only solution that can lead mankind to light and peace in our century.
Allah calls to the Abode of Peace and He guides whom He wills to a straight path. (Surah Yunus, 25)

A nobleman, Statesman and Author
There are probably my friends who think that I have been affected by the Muslims. Allegations were not true, since my move to the religion of Islam is arising from my own consciousness, the ideas of my own.
I have been exchanging ideas with people educated about the religion of Islam just happened a few weeks ago. And I should also point out that I was very happy when it turns out that all my theories and conclusions are entirely compatible with the Islamic right.

Organizational Structure Of Islam
Islam places emphasis on the individual’s relationship with God. The framework for this relationship follows the guidelines set out by the Qur’an and Sunnah. This relationship, in turn, defines a Muslim’s relations with everyone, which brings about justice, organization, and social harmony.
The Qur’an says, “Verily the most honorable of you with God are the most pious among you.” [Qur’an 49:13] The wise, the pious, the knowledgeable in Islam, and the true in practice are Islam’s natural leaders.
Islam is not specific as to who can become a scholar. Anyone with enough intelligence, study, and determination can strive to become a scholar, but not everyone will have the time and resources to do so. All people should strive to learn as much as possible, while recognizing that God is The One, The Bestower of knowledge and understanding.
The scholar plays a critical role in Muslim society. He or she devotes years to the study of Islam. Scholars cannot forgive sins, bless people, or change the law of God. They impart the information they have acquired by reference to the Qur’an and Sunnah; by the nobility of their character they inspire others to be better.
Some have used the word “cleric” to describe a Muslim scholar. This is a misnomer. There is no formal clergy, no ordaining body, and no hierarchy. The relationship between the individual and God is a direct one. No one besides God can declare what is lawful and what is sinful. No created being can bless another. Each individual is directly accountable to his or her Lord and Creator.
One visiting a mosque may see a person leading the congregational prayers. Whenever Muslims pray together, they must select one individual to stand in front and lead the others in prayer so that all might pray in unity and harmony. It is best to select a person who has the most knowledge of the Qur’an and Islam. This person is called Imam, which literally means “the one who is leading.” At midday on Fridays there is a special congregational prayer. All Muslim men are required to attend; it is voluntary for women. This weekly prayer is preceded by a short sermon. The one who gives this sermon should be the best available in terms of his deep understanding of Islamic principles.

Goals of Islam
A - Worshipping Allaah Alone:
This is the reason behind Allaah's creating all that exists: Angels, Jinn, mankind, heavens, earth and animals etc. Allaah created everything only to worship Him alone. He Said, (what means):"See you not that to Allaah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the animals, and many of mankind? But there are many (men) on whom the punishment is justified. And whomsoever Allaah disgrace, none can honor him. Verily! Allaah does what He will." [Quran 28:18]
He also said about the Angels, (what means): "Surely, those who are with your Lord (angels) are never too proud to perform acts of worship to Him, but they glorify His praise and prostrate before Him." [Quran 7:206]. And (what means): "There is not a thing but glorifies His praise. But you understand not their glorification." [Quran17:44] There are many other verses with this meaning.
Allaah sent the Prophets, may Allaah exalt their mention, and sent down revelations to them for the above reasons. He said, (what means): "And verily, We have sent among every nation a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allaah (Alone), and avoid Taghoot (all false deities)." [Quran 16:36]
Prophet Muhammad
, was the last Messenger sent by Allaah to all nations, with the goal of worshipping Allaah Alone. He commanded people to worship Allaah Alone, taking no partners with Him in worship.
This is the reason behind Allaah's creating all that exists: Angels, Jinn, mankind, heavens, earth and animals etc. Allaah created everything only to worship Him alone. Non-Muslims under Islam
Non-Muslims under Islamic law would be held under the status of dhimmi (from Arabic ذميّ, dh as th pronounced like in this) were allowed to "practice their religion, subject to certain conditions, and to enjoy a measure of communal autonomy" and guaranteed their personal safety and security of property, in return for paying tribute and acknowledging Muslim rule.[1] Taxation from the perspective of thimmis who came under the Muslim rule, was "a concrete continuation of the taxes paid to earlier regimes"[2] (but now lower under the Muslim rule[3][4]) and from the point of view of the Muslim conqueror was a material proof of the dhimmi's subjection.[2]Various restrictions and legal disabilities were placed on dhimmis, such as prohibitions against bearing arms or giving testimony in courts in cases involving Muslims.[5]

The Benefits of Islam
Eight years ago, I was on a transit at Heathrow Airport when I entered a bookshop and saw a rack of Middle Eastern novels written by Western authors. The covers all portrayed veiled women running away from an abusive husband, father or brother. Women I'd never knew personally, not at home in America or in my birth country of Iraq. Although I realize they exist everywhere.

The Islamic Response to the Secular Educational System
By Br. Khalid El-Gharib
The West has claimed that for centuries its scientific and technological progress was a direct result of isolating religion from the practical affairs of societies by the secular ideology of separating the Church from the State. The rise of secularism meant that religious teachings in the social and political systems were replaced with man-made legislation. This perception that views religion as impractical and full of contradictions was due to the historical brutality possessed by the Church against scientists and philosophers.
This article addresses the reasons that brought about secular educational systems in the West and will refute the generalisations made by the West to include Islam as a religion of rituals and spirituality that does not manifest itself in the temporal affairs. This article is dedicated to Muslim University students to enlighten their Islamic worldview on the western secular educational systems.

How to muslim perfect...?
Every Muslim believes that Islam is the way of life. No doubt about it. Islam has guides and rules for every part in our life such as worship, morals, study, business , banking, and so on. This is because, Islam is the only religion that granted by Allah till judgment day. In the Holy Quran, Allah said ” This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, God is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, God is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.” (surah al-Maidah, No.3). See! how beautiful it is? Most of the Muslimknew about that but unluckily they don’t appreciate with it. That’s why Muslims today are very weak and also discriminate by other races and regions. I’m feel very upset looking us (Muslim) get behind from any expects especially on technology and economics.
So, How to be a perfect Muslim? The basic concept is obey Allah and obey the Messenger. Who is the Messenger? He is the prophet of Muhammad (peace be upon him). In the Holy Quran, Allah said “O you who believe! Obey Allâh, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad) and render not vain your deeds” (surah Muhammad, No.33).
Next step is gain and find a lot of knowledge. Try to be a knowledgeable person. Let’s refer to the first divine revelation which is about the knowledge. In the Holy Quran, Allah said “Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists)”, (surah al-‘alaq, No.1) At the same time, remember Allah always. In other words, Allah mentions us to be success in our life by using a better knowledge.
The last step is ‘‘Do every command from Allah, and Let go what prohibit and forbid from Allah”. In the Holy Quran, Allah said “You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command). (surah al-‘imran,no.110). I saw that It’s not benefits to individual person only but also for the Islamic community around the world.
What I wrote here is only the basis. Without that, Its very difficult to achieve as a perfect Muslim. So, Let we (Muslim) do it together. Hopefully, It will make us become more awareness. Good Luck

THE IMPORTANCE OF SOLAT-THE FIVE DAILY PRAYER
All praise is for Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our own deeds. Whomever Allah guides, cannot be lead astray and whomever Allah does not guide, none can guide him. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad (PBUH) is His Messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his household, his companions and all those who follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.

Principles of Success According to the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (s)
It is a well-known fact that the Prophet of Islam (saw) was the supremely successful man in the entire human history. But he was not just a hero, as Thomas Carlyle has called him. According to the Qur’an, he was the best example for all mankind. He has shown us the way of achieving supreme success in this world. By studying the life of the Prophet (saw), we can derive those important principles which were followed by the Prophet (saw). Indeed, the Prophet of Islam (saw) was a positive thinker in the full sense of the word. All his activities were result-oriented. He completely refrained from all such steps as may prove counter-productive.

The Jihad definition according to the original arab meaning
The meaning of Jihad today has been clearly transformed from the original one
Islam Jihad today is like Christian Crusade yesterday. As explained in a text below by an Arab scholar, Jihad didn't mean Holy War but only an inner struggle against one's own evil (In Occident, James Conrad did also talk about our inner evil). So Jihad has been ceased by Politicians as a pretext to mystify their people or rather a group of religious extremists to launch a Holy War.

O you, those who have faith! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove your bad deeds from you and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and grant us forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things.(66/8)
May Allah blessings and favours be upon Mohammad(pbuh) his family and companions and all those who follows Him(pbuh) until the day of judgement.
And We have sent you (O Muhammad) not but as a mercy for the worlds.(Quran 21:107)

The MERCY of Islam: Saudi Woman, 75, Sentenced to 40 Lashings!
I apologise for bringing YET ANOTHER GLORIOUS CHRONICLE OF ISLAM a bit late.
Please forgive me, however, the news of this most merciful judgement by the Sharia court in the birthplace of our NOBLE RELIGION was just too much to pass up:
This VILE transgressor of the eternal laws of Islam was, by the MERCY of Islam only sentenced (a 75-year-old widow) to 40 lashes and four months in prison.
Her crime was GREAT in the eyes of ALLAH, and the mercy that Islam brings to the world has ruled out the DEATH SENTENCE that most object Muslims would DEMAND!
Can you imagine the mercy of only 40 lashes and 4 months in jail for actually mingling with two young men who were reportedly bringing her bread!
Praise Allah for his Mercy and Praise Islam and Sharia for its CLEAR JUDGEMENTS!

The Importance of Education in Islam
To seek knowledge is a sacred duty, it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female. The first word revealed of the Qur?an was "Iqra" READ! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! Be educated.
Surah Al-Zumr, ayah 9 reveals: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?" Surah Al-Baqarah, ayah 269 reveals: "Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit."

Islamic studies
Islamic studies is an ambiguous term with one connotation in a traditional near-Eastern context and another in a Western context. In a Muslim context, "Islamic studies" can be an umbrella term for all virtually all of academia, both originally researched and as defined by the Islamization of knowledge. It includes all the traditional forms of religious thought, such as Kalam (Islamic theology) and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and also assimilates fields generally considered to be secular in the West, such as Islamic science and Islamic economics.
In a non-Muslim context, Islamic studies generally refers to the historical study of Islam, Muslim culture, Muslim history and Islamic philosophy. Academics from diverse disciplines participate and exchange ideas about predominantly Muslim societies, past and present. In spite of their non-religious approach, some non-Muslim scholars have written works which are widely read by Muslims. Before 1980, such non-Muslim scholars in this field had been called "Islamicists" and their discipline came under the field often called Oriental studies, now often Asian studies. Many universities offer academic degrees on the subject of Islamic studies.

Some Overwhelming Events of The Day of Judgement
1. What is meant by “They are waiting for a single blast?”
The Day of Judgment will come sooner than one expects. It will strike all of a sudden, when unbelievers would be disputing amongst themselves about things of faith!
2. Which angel will blow the Trumpet?
Angel Israfil will blow the Trumpet.
3. What will be the aftermath of the first blowing of the Trumpet?
With the first blowing of the trumpet, whoever is in the Heaven and the earth will swoon away, except such as will please Allah.
THE CATEGORIES OF TAWHEED
everything which exists is Allaah and Allaah is everything. He asserted that there
is only one real existence, which is Allaah everything else is unreal.4 Yet, such
beliefs are classified by mainstream Islaam as pantheism and, as such, kufr. Other
Muslims such as the Mu‘tazilah5 held that tawheed consisted of stripping Allaah
of all His attributes and asserting that He is present everywhere and in everything;
yet these ideas were also rejected by orthodox Islaam and considered heretical. In
fact, almost all of the various heretical sects which broke off from the main body
of Islaam, from the Prophet’s time till today, began their divergence from the
point of tawheed. All of those who worked for the destruction of Islaam and the
misguidance of its followers have attempted to neutralize the principle of
tawheed, because it represents the very essence of the divine message of Islaam
brought by all the prophets. They have introduced concepts about Allaah totally
alien to Islaam; concepts designed to take man away from the worship of Allaah
alone. Once people accept these pagan philosophies about God, they become
easily susceptible to a multitude of other deviant ideas, all of which eventually
lead those who accept them to the worship of created things under the guise of the
true worship of God.
The Prophet (r) himself vividly warned Muslims to beware of such
deviations as had befallen the nations before them. He encouraged them to stick
closely to the path which he had tread. One day as he sat with his companions, he
drew a straight line in the dirt. He then drew a series of lines branching off from
either side of it. When the companions asked him what it meant, he pointed to the
branches and told them that they represented the various paths of misguidance in
this life. He went on to say that at the head of each path sat a devil inviting people
to it. After that, he pointed to the straight line in the middle and told them that it
represented the path of Allaah. When the companions asked for further
clarification, he told them that it was his path and he recited the following verse:
prophethood. In the centuries following his death, his followers elevated him to the status of saint,
and gave him the title of ash-Shaykh al-Akbar (The Greatest Master), but the majority of Muslim
legal scholars considered him a heretic. His principle works are al-Futoohaat al-Makkeeyah and
Fusoos al-Hikim, (H.A.R. Gibb and J.H. Kramers, Shorter Encyclopedia of Islam, (Ithaca, New
York: Cornell University Press, 1953), pp.146-7.
4 A modern proponent of this belief called wahdatul-wujood is Haroon Yahya. He has included a
chapter in most of his works written in refutation of Darwinism promoting this belief.
5 A rationalist philosophical school founded in the Umayyad period (i.e. early 8th century CE) by
Waasil ibn ‘Ataa and ‘Amr ibn ‘Ubayd. It gained sway over the ‘Abbaasid state for over a hundred
years and continued to influence Islamic thought until the 12th century (Shorter Encyclopedia of
Islam, pp.421-6).
وأَنَّ هذَا صِراطِي مستقِيما فَاتبِعوه ولَا تتبِعوا ال سبلَ فَتفَ رق بِ ُ كم عن سبِيلِهِ
“This is my path leading straight, so follow it. And do not follow the
other paths, or else you will be separated from His (Allaah’s) path.”6
It is therefore of the utmost importance that tawheed be clearly understood in the
way it was taught by the Prophet (r) and understood by his companions, or else
one could easily end up on one of the many deviant paths while claiming
tawheed, praying, paying zakaah,7 fasting and making Hajj. Allaah, Most Wise,
has pointed to this phenomenon when He said in the Qur’aan,
وما يؤمِ ن َأكْثَ ر هم بِاللَّهِ إِلَّا و هم مشرِ ُ كونَ
“Most of them claim to believe in Allaah, but they really commit
shirk.”8
The three categories of tawheed are commonly referred to by the
following titles:
1. Tawheed ar-Ruboobeeyah: lit. “Maintaining the oneness of Lordship,” that is,
affirming that Allaah is one, without partners in his sovereignty.
2. Tawheed al-Asmaa’ was-Sifaat: lit. “Maintaining the unity of Allaah’s Names
and Attributes,” that is, affirming that they are incomparable and unique.
3. Tawheed al-‘Ibaadah: Affirming that Allaah is alone in his right to be
worshipped.9
The division of tawheed into its components was not done by the Prophet
(r) nor by his companions, as there was no necessity to analyze such a basic
principle of faith in this fashion. However, the foundations of the components are
all implied in the verses of the Qur’aan and in the explanatory statements of the
Prophet (r) and his companions, as will become evident when each category is
dealt with in more detail later.
6 Soorah al-An‘aam, (6):153, Reported by Ibn

closely to the path which he had tread.
